Mechanism

A popular research-peptide pairing of BPC-157 (a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protein) and TB-500 (a synthetic fragment related to thymosin beta-4), both proposed to promote angiogenesis, cell migration, and tissue repair. Mechanisms are largely preclinical and not firmly established in humans.

Half-life

uncertain; limited rigorous human PK for either peptide (both reported to be relatively short-lived). Commonly reported use/dosing: No approved protocol. Reported anecdotal use is subcutaneous injection of each peptide, often in microgram-to-milligram ranges over cycles; not clinically validated.

Regulatory status

Not FDA-approved, individually or as a blend. BPC-157 is not an approved drug (FDA has flagged it among substances not meeting compounding criteria) and TB-500/thymosin beta-4 is unapproved; both are on WADA's prohibited list. Gray-market research-chemical status.

Safety

Human safety data limited; theoretical concerns include effects on angiogenesis (relevant to tumor growth) and unknown long-term effects. Research-grade products carry sterility/purity risk. Prohibited in sport.

Evidence

Mostly animal/in-vitro research; sparse controlled human data. Not clinically validated as a combination.
