Mechanism

A combination product marketed for tissue repair: BPC-157 (a synthetic peptide derived from a gastric protein) is reported to promote angiogenesis and tendon/ligament healing, GHK-Cu (a copper tripeptide) supports collagen synthesis and wound remodeling, and TB-500 (a thymosin beta-4 fragment) is reported to promote cell migration and angiogenesis. The blend has no validated combined mechanism in humans.

Half-life

Not established for the blend; varies by component. BPC-157 half-life is poorly characterized in humans (limited human data); GHK-Cu and TB-500 human pharmacokinetics are also not well established. Treat all values as uncertain.

Regulatory status

Not FDA-approved as a blend or as individual components for any human indication. Sold as a research chemical. BPC-157 and TB-500 are not approved drugs and have been flagged by FDA; TB-500 (thymosin beta-4) is prohibited by WADA. Compounding of BPC-157 has been restricted by FDA (placed in category 2 of the 503A bulks review). GHK-Cu is used cosmetically but not approved as an injectable drug.

Safety

Sterility and product-purity risks are significant for unregulated injectables. Component-specific human safety data are limited; reported effects are largely anecdotal. Copper-containing peptides carry theoretical risk of copper accumulation with overuse. No long-term human safety data for the combination.
